On Thursday, August 4 from 2-3:30 Central, USDOT will host a webinar specific for tribal and rural communities on the Reconnecting Communities Pilot Discretionary Grant Program.
You can register for this program here: Webinar Registration – Zoom (zoomgov.com). I have attached the slides from the “Interested in Applying” – Encore webinar held on July 28. This program has a $5 million minimum, but consortia can apply and there are both planning and capital construction grants available, with a 20% local match requirement.
These funds could be used to support local roads development for new housing and also to address resilience issues such as common road flooding / wash-outs. OJ, this may be of broader interest to other COLT members as well.
