COLT leadership elections were held today and the new President of COLT is J. Garret Renville from Sisseton-Wahpeton. The new Vice President of COLT is Speaker Crystaline Curley from Navajo Nation.

I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Chairman of the Coalition
of Large Tribes (COLT). This responsibility is one I take to heart, and I am energized to work alongside
all of our coalition members to advance the priorities of our communities.

“I look forward to leveraging my friendships and the support of key leaders such as North Dakota
Governor Doug Burgum the incoming Department of the Interior Secretary nominee. Senate Majority
Leader John Thune, we are in a unique position to strengthen our collective voice and push for
meaningful policy changes. By continuing to foster these relationships, I am committed to ensuring that
our tribes receive the resources, respect, and opportunities they deserve.

Together, we will continue to advocate for the protection of tribal sovereignty, support economic
development, and improve healthcare, education, and infrastructure for our people. I look forward to
working with all of you as we build a brighter future for the Coalition of Large Tribes. Thank you for
your trust and support.
